On her ninth wedding anniversary, Kim learned that her husband Steve had been having affairs with men, and three years later the two learn that they are HIV positive. While addressing themes of fidelity, loyalty, and forgiveness, Tasha Oldham discusses the subjects of her film The Smith Family and their inspirational spirit and love for one another.
