CPB & PBS Announce 2011 Producers Academy Fellows

Seeking to strengthen and diversify public media's production talent, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) and Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) awarded 25 producers with "scholarships" to attend the Producers Academy Workshop at WGBH-Boston in October 2011.

Selected from more than 200 applicants, these Producers Academy fellows will participate in an intensive course that covers a range of production skills and draws on the expertise that has made PBS a recognized force on the American cultural landscape.  The goal of the Producers Academy is to encourage a diverse and talented group of producers, who will create new and greater programming achievements in public media.
