PBS and NPR Availability Is Valued
Close to three-quarters of Americans (who
have a PBS station in their community) say it
would affect their quality of life if the PBS
station in their local community were no longer
available (73%).  Close to four in ten feel it
would affect them a lot (39%).
Two-thirds feel that if NPR were no longer
available it would affect the quality of life in
their community (67%), with one-third saying it
would affect them a lot (33%).
