Funds Given to PBS Is Money
Well Spent
Overwhelmingly, people believe that funding given to
PBS stations from individuals, government, and
corporations is worthwhile.  Nearly eight in ten
Americans answer affirmatively that funds given to PBS
stations is money well spent (79%).
The belief that PBS funding is money well-spent is
consistent across all demographic subgroups, with the
highest numbers among females (82%), those with some
college education (82%), and those with household
incomes of $50-$75,000 (83%).
Nine out of ten (92%) of those who have contributed to
PBS stations within the past year believe the money is
well spent.
