Introduction
		This report presents the results of a research project conducted for PBS by RoperASW. The purpose of the research was to: Ø Understand Americans’ views toward PBS as a national institution; Ø Gauge the value Americans place on PBS programming; Ø Explore the public’s attitudes about the funding sources for PBS. The results of the study will be used to help PBS assess its mission and performance as an institution chartered to serve the public.
