NATIONAL SCIENCE STANDARDS (Grades 5-8)

 Science as Inquiry- Content Standard A
 Students will learn to formulate questions, design an investigation, execute this  investigation, interpret the data and use the evidence to generate explanations.
 Students will use the computer as a tool in their investigation.
 Student inference, based on student observation, will help them understand and  analyze the complexities of autism.

NATIONAL SCIENCE STANDARDS (Grades 9-12)

 Life Science - Content Standard C
 Students will gain insight into the behavior of organisms by studying how the  specialized cells of the eye and nervous system enable humans to monitor what is  going on in the world around them.
