 Students will use physical models to explain scientific content.
 Students will think critically in order to create a scientific argument.
 Students will be skeptics and evaluate a scientific practice.
 Life Science - Content Standard C
 The student gains familiarity of the structure and function in living systems by  working with the skeletal system, specifically studying the functions of the backbone.
 Students will understand that disagreement does exist in the scientific community.
 Science in Personal and Social Perspectives - Content Standard E
