NATIONAL SCIENCE STANDARDS    (Grades 5-8)

 Science as Inquiry- Content Standard A

Students will use mathematics as a tool for gathering data.

Students will observe a model and base explanations on that model.

 Science in Personal and Social Perspectives - Content Standard F

Students will think about scientific technology and its effect on society.
