T ell us a little about your everyday life:
I am enjoying being a dad. It is a hundred times better and more scary than I could have ever imagined. I live in Tewksbury, MA and I work as a designer at a production company.

What is your current weight?
300 pounds

What did you like and dislike about your particular method of weight loss

I liked that the method seemed to work pretty quickly. It would have gone even better had I included an exercise regimen. A drawback of the method was that it lacked a real support network or group meetings to go to.

What's the most surprising thing you learned from this experience?

I learned that no amount of fear of public humiliation is motivation enough to lose weight. I think weight loss needs to become more of a routine and it requires more structure for me. Also, when you are working hard to get a new toddler into your routine it doesn't always leave much time for personal maintenance. Of course that could just be another excuse in a long line of other excuses.
