WHO'S JUST THROWN A SPEAR
This hunter has just taken his first shot at the mammoth.
The leather loop which serves as an atlatl, or spear thrower,
hangs from his right hand. Now he has to retrieve his wooden
spear shaft, with its bone or ivory foreshaft, so he can
reload.
