Chris Barrett is the Leader of the Basic and Applied Simulation Science Group at Los Alamos National Lab. He received a PhD from the California Institute of Technology in Bioinformation Systems in 1985. He has been at the Los Alamos National Laboratory since 1988 and has been engaged in theoretical and applied research in intelligent systems, distributed systems and advanced computer simulation.
