Photo of Kai Nagel KAI NAGEL

Kai Nagel has been at Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico, since 1995. He is currently a Technical Staff Member. Kai received his Ph.D. at the University of Cologne/Germany in Computer Science in 1994. In addition to his Ph.D. in computer science, Kai's background is in computational physics and in meteorology and climate research. His main general interest is the application of advanced computational techniques to large scale socio-economic systems. Kai's current work focuses mostly on large-scale transportation simulations.
