Like many tourists from around the world, the Scientific American Frontiers expedition crew visited the various islands that make up the Galapagos archipelago. Some environmental groups have suggested that increased tourism in the 20th century has inadvertently created a threat to the delicate ecosystems of the islands. Others argue that, as long as laws enacted to protect the native wildlife are obeyed, everyone has the right to visit and enjoy this scientific wonder. What do you think?

Should tourism in the Galapagos Islands be further limited to avoid potential damage to the environment and wildlife?
