Shakespeare in Your State

The resources listed here are related to Shakespeare's plays, and are intended for schools and teachers. Theater groups, including some listed here, may also offer educational programs not directly related to Shakespeare, such as classroom acting workshops. In addition, many provide evening, weekend, and summer outreach programs outside the school system, including theatrical apprenticeships and summer camps.

Many localities also have a tradition of outdoor Shakespeare performances each summer, often called Shakespeare festivals, which may be available at no charge.

Some programs serve more than one state, so you may also wish to check for resources and events in neighboring states; you'll have to inquire directly to determine if a program also covers your state.
