Good and bad language
 Julian Glover and Adrian Schiller in "King Lear"May: An Act of Parliament to "Restrain the Abuses of Players" (i.e. curb profanity in the theatre) becomes law. As the exact definition of profanity usually irreverent and blasphemous language isn't given in the Act, theatre companies are forced to censor themselves or face fines.
