William Purefoy and Paula Chateauneuf perform some of the surviving music from "Cardenio""Cardenio" was written and performed at The Blackfriars and The Globe. This play was a collaboration with John Fletcher, then a rising star within The King's Men. The full text of the play has not survived, but we still have the lyrics and music for one, or possibly two, songs.
"Cardenio" was based on a translation of Cervantes' "Don Quixote."
