London, mid-16th century, is an overwhelming place. The crowds of
people, the babble of strange accents and unknown languages, the noise,
the streets crammed with animals and carts, the smells. Especially the
smells.
Being a part of the new wave of theatre is just about the most exciting
scene you could imagine. The players' popularity has grown beyond the
small inns and ale houses that they used to play. Now they're playing to
audiences of thousands in custom-built theatres. Of course, your
involvement in the new wave so far is limited to parking the horses of
wealthier audiences. But, still, it's an exciting thing to be a part of
it.
