Of course, at the end of an evening's show you'd much rather be heading for the nearest inn with the buzzing and excited crowd of players than shovelling up the horse dung.

The demand for new plays has exhausted the traditional plays. People want to see more and they want to see new. And you've overheard enough to know that the established writers just can't keep up with demand. You know that dedicating all of your spare time to writing a new play is going to pay off. You know that one day you are going to be the one up there on stage, taking a bow to the rapturous applause of an audience of thousands.

The question is, what are you going to write about?
