Smoky Hills Public Television To Rebroadcast 2008 Kansas Shrine Bowl

Smoky Hills Public Television will air a taped rebroadcast of the 2008 Kansas Shrine Bowl in its entirety at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, August 2.

Technical and weather-related problems in Emporia caused the station to miss approximately the first hour of the live broadcast of the game from Emporia State's Welch Museum last Saturday, July 26, according to Marypat Waymaster, director of broadcasting.

"Smoky Hills Public Television is glad to be able to present this rebroadcast of the Kansas Shrine Bowl," Waymaster noted, "We certainly are sorry and apologize for any inconvenience the difficulties we experienced with our original broadcast may have created."
