It is a revision of Anderson's "Harvard Fantasy" which was written in 1936 (see "Harvard Fantasy" listing). A Harvard Festival was first performed April 1, 1969 at Carnegie Hall, New York by the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra, James Yannatos conducting.
