Carl Crum has been making films for a living for almost 20 years. He has won numerous awards including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Documentary for the web series One Square Mile and “NPS Film of the Year” for the Big Bend National Park documentary Land of Contrasts. He is currently producing a documentary series titled Leading Women for public television. Carl has a MA in Cinematography, and a BFA in Cinematography and Photography. For the past decade he and his wife Elisabeth have owned the production company Brazos Film & Video LLC. Through BFV they have produced dozens of documentaries over topics ranging from anti-ballistic missiles to cockfighting.
