Season 2 of NO PASSPORT REQUIRED, six episode food and travel program, is coming to PBS in Fall 2019.

Following up on Season 1, host Marcus Samuelsson will celebrate America’s plentiful and varied races, religions, and cultures, by traversing the country in search of the enclaves in America’s cities and towns that have strong, richly authentic ethnic communities – entering their homes, restaurants, social gatherings, and partaking in cultural activities unique to their homeland.

NO PASSPORT REQUIRED will air Tuesdays at 9PM on PBS Stations nationwide.

Hosted by Marcus Samuelsson

Chef Marcus Samuelsson – owner of Harlem, New York’s critically acclaimed Red Rooster – perfectly embodies America’s extraordinarily rich cultural diversity. Born in Ethiopia, raised in Sweden, and currently a proud resident of Harlem, his eclectic background inspired him to infuse music, history, culture, and arts into his culinary experiences.

PBS Viewers are fearless connoisseurs of food, wine, and travel. They eagerly read gourmet and travel publications, view programming, and follow through on their own adventures with high rates of domestic and international travel and culinary exploration, at restaurants and in their own homes.
