Eat only sustainable seafood

Why should I do this?

Many of the world's fish stocks are in big trouble due to a variety of causes — including unsustainable fishing methods. The over fishing of top predators, like groupers and swordfish, can disrupt entire ecosystems. Fish caught by techniques that harvest entire wild populations, destroy habitat and/or increase the risks of disease should also be avoided.

How can I do this?

A number of conservation organizations around the US have developed easy to use tools to help you make sustainable seafood choices at the grocery store or your favorite restaurant. Visit What can we do? for more information.
