Buy Energy Star appliances

Not all household appliances are created equal. Selecting energy efficient water heaters, washers and dryers and other appliances can reduce the release of greenhouse gases into the environment. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ENERGY STAR programs can help you select appliances that will save you money and conserve energy and water and help protect our environment. The EPA site can also help you make smart energy decisions when remodeling or building a new home.

For more information on issues like this, see the One Degree Factor information on this website.

How can I do this?
