Tennessee’s Race to the Top plan specifies that the state will provide a structure for struggling schools to have access to “high-quality’ content and course delivery providers identified by the Tennessee Department of Education.
PBS (with PBS TeacherLine ) was selected as an approved provider of professional development services to schools and districts in the state, as described in Tennessee’s Race to the Top goals. PBS, along with Tenessee Public Broadcasting Stations will help schools as they increase student achievement through digital learning objects and online professional development courses and resources.
