GED® Test Info: Social Studies

Course Description:

This online professional development course created by KET provides adult education teachers with information and resources about the GED® Social Studies Test. The Overview section provides a review of the basic information about the Social Studies test, including social studies practices and focusing themes. The course also includes seven sections focusing on different areas of the test and strategies and resources that may be used in the classroom to enhance student performance. The course offers teachers a variety of tips and techniques as well as lessons and activities for classroom use. At the end of the course, teachers have the option to complete a quiz in order to earn a Certificate of Completion for 9 hours.
