Formative Assessment in Practice: Administration and Leadership

Course Description:

Three courses focus on formative assessment—assessment for learning—and its role in increasing student achievement and motivation. The Overview defines formative assessment and looks at how it fits into a balanced assessment system. It also looks at the role administrators play in helping teachers create and implement effective formative assessments in their lessons.

Note: This is a self-paced course accessible for one year after enrollment, and not eligible for graduate credit.
