Formative Assessment in Practice: Administration and Leadership

Course Description:

Three courses focus on formative assessment—assessment for learning—and its role in increasing student achievement and motivation. The Overview defines formative assessment and looks at how it fits into a balanced assessment system. It also looks at the role administrators play in helping teachers create and implement effective formative assessments in their lessons. At the end of the course, learners earn a Certificate of Completion.

Note: This is a self-paced course accessible for one year after enrollment, and not eligible for graduate credit.
