Education in Kentucky I: Culture of Continuous Improvement

Course Description:

This three-module course provides an overview of education in Kentucky, including a look at the state’s historical reform initiatives, beginning in 1990 with KERA to the most recent changes brought about in 2009 by Senate Bill 1—the adoption of the Common Core State Standards and what that means in preparing Kentucky students for college and career. At the end of the course, learners earn a Certificate of Completion.

As of June 30, 2017, this course will no longer be available.

Note: This is a self-paced course accessible for one year after enrollment, and not eligible for graduate credit.
