Human Impacts on Environmental Systems

Course Description:

As our world population continues to grow, human impacts on the Earth’s environmental systems will continue to affect the health and stability of our ecosystem. How can we protect our water resources and the Earth’s biodiversity while also meeting our energy challenges? Through Annenberg Learner videos, interactive labs, and data analysis, learners will examine how water resource issues and the decline in biodiversity affect life on Earth. Learners will also investigate how we can provide the energy we need while maintaining an ecological balance. At the end of the course, learners earn a Certificate of Completion.

Note: This is a self-paced course accessible for one year after enrollment, and not eligible for graduate credit.
