A topic immersion course on Teaching Middle School Life Science.
Provide your middle schoolers with a meaningful understanding of the ways that an organism's characteristics enable it to survive and reproduce in its particular environment by learning to incorporate elements of the scientific process into your teaching. Discover impactful ways to use models in the teaching of middle school life science.

Note: The content of this topic immersion course is drawn from our full survey course Teaching Middle School Life Science (SCIE510). When planning their professional development, learners should select either the full survey course or choose one or more of the topic immersion component courses.

Note: This is a facilitated course. Learners submit coursework and participate in asynchronous discussions throughout the course term, and receive graded feedback.
