These new "literacy" skills give students the foundation for effective Internet use and support their collaborative, meaningful, safe work on research and other projects. Learn the skills and strategies students need to become digital citizens. The course also covers how to organize Web sites and their content through the use of free online tools. For the course project, you'll develop a curriculum guide on preparing students for Web research, integrating the use of Web 2.0 tools, and create an online portal complete with resources for teachers, students and parents.
