Our online professional development courses for teachers provide challenging, in-depth learning experiences that boost student achievement. PBS TeacherLine is the premier resource offering professional development courses online to individual PreK-12 teachers and districts. Our specially trained, certified facilitators lead over 130 top-quality, standards-based courses that span the entire curriculum: Mathematics, Reading/Language Arts, Science, Instructional Technology, and Instructional Strategies.
And through partnerships with PBS member stations, we offer additional courses aligned with state standards.
PBS TeacherLine Peer Connection
Our newest online service to help teachers further develop their professional skills is PBS TeacherLine Peer Connection. This innovative professional development tool offers customized, targeted support for instructional coaches. Professional development coaches can utilize high quality resources like videos on best practices and research-based articles—all in a searchable location. In addition, PBS TeacherLine fosters an online community bringing coaches and teachers together regardless of hectic schedules and physical distance.
Capstone Technology Certification Program
PBS TeacherLine and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) have teamed up to create the PBS TeacherLine/ISTE Certificate of Proficiency Capstone Program. Enroll in this online professional development learning experience to:
- Demonstrate your knowledge of the ISTE National Educational Technology Standards.
- Earn a certificate of proficiency in the ISTE NETS-T.
