As sad and scary as the unemployment rates are, I think it is time that everyone know about it and how it will effect their future. I know the rates are changing constantly but at the same rate I think high school seniors need to consider the areas of most trouble when deciding their major. I know when I graduated teachers weren't losing jobs like they are now and that was only 3 years ago. Now that I am an education major and hearing that they are no longer giving first year teachers a contract it is just basically a trial run for their first year, is a scary thought that from year to year I won't be guranteed a job. I really wish in high school we were offered an eye opening lesson like this. Awesome lesson.
