Estimate the length of various dinosaurs using modern animals as non-standard units of measurement. Compare the sizes of all the dinosaurs at the end of the game.

This game really teaches the value of observation. The children have to observe approximately how long the small animal is and compare it to how long they think the bigger animal is. Sometimes students just look and don't really observe. In this game I would introduce it with the KWL chart on what they have learned about observation and it's importance.
