The 2012 Teacher Innovator Awards, sponsored by PBS LearningMedia and The Henry Ford, invited PreK-12th grade educators to share ideas and videos showcasing how they were engaging students with PBS and On Innovation resources and innovative ideas to reinforce 21st century learning skills. Below is the list of winners and links to view their submissions. The top ten winners will participate in a week-long "Innovation Immersion Experience" at The Henry Ford in Dearborn, Michigan from July 27 – August 2, 2013, plus receive a FREE PBS TeacherLine professional development course. These 10 first place winners were selected from across five subject areas and five grade level groupings. Ten second place winners will receive a Promethean ActiView document camera and a bag chock-full of goodies from PBS and The Henry Ford, and ten third place winners will receive a bag chock-full of goodies from PBS and The Henry Ford! All winners will be invited to partner with PBS and local public television stations as leaders in classroom innovation.
