Since its premiere on PBS KIDS in 1983, READING RAINBOW has helped children build lasting relationships with books at home and in the classroom. As broadcast rights are set to expire, PBS will no longer feed READING RAINBOW after August 28, 2009, and all broadcast rights will discontinue after that date.
PBS TeacherLine’s Melinda George Appointed to Mom Congress on Education and Learning Advisory Board

Melinda George, Senior Director of PBS TeacherLine® and National Education Partnerships for PBS, has been appointed to the advisory board of the Mom Congress™ on Education and Learning. The Mom Congress, is a new prosocial initiative developed by Parenting magazine to celebrate and connect moms advocating for education reform.
