2011 Project VoiceScape Winners Honored
During an October 6 event at the Newseum in D.C., the 2011 Project VoiceScape finalists and award winners were honored by the Adobe and PBS Foundations and POV. The event was hosted by Gwen Ifill and Paula Kerger.

Project VoiceScape promotes and honors the work of aspiring documentarians. Fifteen short films by 19 teenage filmmakers were chosen earlier this year to receive a grant and mentoring with professional filmmakers. All of these finalists were honored for their work at the event, while three — Morgan Wilcock, Emileigh Potter and Angel Gatus — received additional awards for Best Documentary, Most Inspiring Documentary and the Audience Award, respectively.
