Vicci Recckio received her multiple-subject teaching credential along with a supplement in English from San Diego State University. Vicci taught kindergarten for four years in San Diego, California at Warren-Walker School. She now lives and works in Waterloo, Belgium where she teaches first grade.
Sue Appleby Purcell retired from The Potomac School in McLean, Virginia in 2000, after almost 30 years of teaching. Sue's classroom teaching focused on geography, history, English, and Study Skills. Since 2000, Sue has traveled extensively in the United States, Europe, and Africa. Sue's highest priority over the last 15 years has been the teaching of geography: she worked in the grassroots movement in Virginia to bring geography curriculum back to the classrooms and as a consultant on the publication of Exploring Your World and several other National Geographic publications.
Brion McGinn is an editor at Educational Teaching Aids in Vernon Hills, Illinois, where he works on mathematics, science, and language arts products. He has also taught eighth and ninth grade English at West Essex Junior High School in North Caldwell, New Jersey. A published poet, he is currently spending much of his free time expanding an already too long novel based on Norse mythology. Among his other hobbies are martial arts, biking, and swimming.
