Shannon McCoy teaches second grade in Jenks, Oklahoma. Her other professional experiences include work as a site technology coordinator in the Jenks school system, an Aurora Peer Facilitator (a technology innovation grant in its fourth year), a member of the NETS writing team, a Web master, and a lead technology trainer. Shannon's second graders work collaboratively with another second grade class in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. In 1997, Shannon's colleagues selecter as as Jenks Teacher of the Year, and last year she was selected as the South Regional Winner in Technology & Learning magazine's Teacher of the Year program.
Hannah Leiterman is a freelance Internet educational content developer. She spent two years teaching English in an Armenian secondary school for the Peace Corps.
