Brion McGinn is an editor at Educational Teaching Aids in Vernon Hills, Illinois, where he works on mathematics, science, and language arts products. He has also taught eighth and ninth grade English at West Essex Junior High School in North Caldwell, New Jersey. A published poet, he is currently spending much of his free time expanding an already too long novel based on Norse mythology. Among his other hobbies are martial arts, biking, and swimming.
Florence McGinn, Senior Vice President and Director of Research for GKE (Global Knowledge Exchange) and board member of the GKE Foundation and Mediatech Foundation, is a former United States Commissioner on the Web-based Education Commission. Florence McGinn is the recipient of the United States National Technology and Learning Teacher of the Year award, and she has been honored as Princeton University's Distinguished Secondary School Educator. Mrs. McGinn is presently appointed to advisory boards with PBS TeacherSource, SchoolTone Alliance, and Technology and Learning magazine. Mrs. McGinn's poetry book BLOOD TRAIL is published in the United States. She holds an appointment as Off-Campus Poetry Professor to Dianye School in Beijing, China. A CD-ROM featuring Mrs. McGinn's poetry and educational methodologies will be published and distributed in China by Centrix Technology and GKE in 2002.
