Sarah Botstein has been working with Ken Burns and Florentine Films for more than a decade and is currently producing a documentary about Prohibition. Prior to THE WAR, Sarah was an associate producer for the ten-part series, JAZZ, which aired in January 2001. In addition to her work on the films themselves, she was involved in the extensive educational outreach and promotion for THE WAR and co-produced the companion soundtrack album. She also co-produced the twenty-eight records that accompanied the JAZZ series, including the five disc box-set which went platinum in 2001. Before joining Florentine Films, Sarah worked for Serino Coyne Public Relations and Owen Comora Associates, where she represented sponsors of Public Television and helped promote several Florentine Films productions, including: THE WEST, THOMAS JEFFERSON, LEWIS AND CLARK: THE JOURNEY OF THE CORPS OF DISCOVERY, and FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT. Sarah is a graduate of Barnard College/Columbia University. She currently lives in New York City and Walpole, New Hampshire. |
