War movies gave the impression that all Japanese looked the same, and they were really bad people.

"The Japanese, all Japanese were short, had slant eyes and were buck teeth, okay? And we got that out of the, the movies, "Back to Baatan," "Guadalcanal Diary," "Wake Island." You know, all these war movies that came on. The Japanese were really bad people. And the Germans, I don't think that they, they stressed that so much."
