"I took to it like a fish takes to water. I enjoyed the regimentation. I enjoyed the getting up and going to bed at regular times. I enjoyed having meals at regular hours. I enjoyed the whole concept of military life. Afterwards, people told me I was an idiot. You know, for...because everybody that I spoke to saw how horrible it was, how they didn't like what they had to go through. They didn't like their training, they didn't like their food. And I enjoyed all of it. I really did. |
