Olga Ciralo: Waterbury before the war
Waterbury was a wonderful place, especially for an Italian family.
Interview outtakes from THE WAR:
"Well, Waterbury, to me at one time, was a beautiful city, wonderful people. Where we lived, there were a lot of Italian people that had come from Italy, but they had made a good, a good business for themselves and were very well liked. We had a wonderful neighborhood. My mother, my father, we had parties every single Sunday. Every Sunday was a picnic for us. So, my mother and father gave us everything that we needed. And we really enjoyed it. In fact, those are some of my happy days living in Waterbury on North Main. And we really enjoyed it."
