 PBS StoryShare is an online story collection tool created by PBS and the National Center for Outreach to allow public television viewers to share personal experiences in response to PBS programming. Viewers are invited to respond to Ken Burn’s THE WAR by sharing stories about WWII through their local PBS affiliate station’s web site. To use PBS StoryShare to share your story or see stories from your community and across the nation: Find your local station: Look for a public television station near your home from the list of participating stations below. Click on the station name to go to the PBS StoryShare feature on that station’s web site. The Veterans History Project PBS and Florentine Films have partnered with the Veterans History Project in a massive effort to capture the stories of men and women who experienced the war first-hand before the generation that fought in World War II has passed. The Veterans History Project is part of the Library of Congress and honors American war veterans and civilian workers who supported them by preserving stories of their service to our country.
