Over the past several decades many nations, from Eastern Europe to Latin America and parts of Africa, have moved toward democratic forms of government. The Middle East is the only region that has not been lifted by the tide of democracy. Host Ben Wattenberg discusses whether democracy is possible in the Middle East with Victor Davis Hanson, professor of history at the U.S. Naval Academy and Thomas Carothers of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
