TTC Extra: China's One-Child Policy

In 1979 China instituted its first one-child policy to slow population growth.  Despite the country still leading the world in population size, the policy has been amended to allow some couples a second child.  The original policy restricted births to a single child unless both parents were only-children.  Now only one parent needs to be an only-child to legally have a second child.
