Ruth Conniff is the political editor of the Progressive Magazine. She has been at the magazine since graduating from Yale University in 1990. Currently, Ms. Conniff lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with her husband and two daughters, working from home and commuting to Washington on a regular basis.
