Finding a particular program
Trying to find out when your favorite program is airing next? Simply enter in the program title in to the TV Schedules Search tool, and if the program is airing within the next 2 weeks, you will receive results according to the schedule. PBS receives TV schedule information for today and 13 days in the future. If you don't see the program in our online TV Schedules, you can try contacting your local station.

Localizing and ZIP codes
We need to know your ZIP code and preferred local station in order to give you the correct TV schedule for your area. We "remember" your preferred station by setting a cookie. That way, every time you come back to PBS.org, you'll get TV schedules and other local information from your station without having to enter your ZIP code again.

No identifiable personal information, like your name or e-mail address, is ever stored in a PBS cookie, even if you have entered it on other PBS.org pages. PBS does not sell information collected by cookies or use it for commercial purposes.

Digital channels
Many PBS stations are now broadcasting more than one channel (e.g. WXYZ Kids, WXYZ You, WXYZ HD). These digital channels, marked with a "[D]" in our online TV Schedules, may be available to you if you have digital cable or satellite. These channels are also available to viewers who have a digital broadcast receiver, a piece of equipment that works with your TV antenna to decode digital signals. To find out, just click on "Digital subscribers: get channel numbers" and select your cable or satellite provider. If you receive those channels through your cable or satellite provider, the channel number(s) will then appear in the online TV Schedules under the channel name. You will also see the accurate channel number for your station's main channel; channel numbers for PBS stations sometimes vary depending on your cable or satellite provider.

Using the calendar
PBS.org TV Schedules always provide schedule information for the next thirteen days (and today), as well as seven days in the past. The small calendar in the upper right corner of the TV Schedules screen makes it easy for you to find a schedule for a specific day. Just click on any of the white days to display the schedule for that day (or week, if you are in the Full Week view). Near the end of a month we will have schedule information for the first few days of the following month. If information for the following month is available a small arrow will appear next to the name of the month at the top of the calendar. Click the arrow to see next month's available days. Days appearing in gray on the calendar indicate that schedules are not available.

Schedule availability
Because long-lead schedules are subject to change, we only show your station's TV schedule for the next 13 days (and today). We also provide schedule information for seven days in the past so that viewers can look up the name of programs they have watched.

Getting e-mail reminders
See a program in the schedule that you'd like to watch? Let us send you an e-mail reminder so you won't miss it! We can send e-mail reminders for any program, except those airing today or in the past. Just click on the program name in the schedule, then click the "E-mail reminder" link above the program description. Or click "View more broadcast times," check the box next to one or more dates and click the Submit button. We won't sell, distribute, or use your email address for any purpose other than the one-time-only program reminder.
