During the poetry writing session, Tara wrote a poem based on
what she experienced. I saw, me personally, springtime. I love
the spring. Its rebirth. The flowers strugglingthats like life.
Being able to choose her own topic helps Tara to write.
The ideas just kept flowing.
Having artifacts from the early twentieth century to explore
allowed Nicholas to feel involved in the learning process.
Nicholas found the artifacts interesting. Having real objects
from the period allowed him to make comparisons more
easily in his writing. Small group discussions also help
Nicholas to feel involved.
